YOM KIPPUR SHINES FORTH

Most people don’t equate Yom Kippur with “light,” but perhaps see it as a day intense in its darkness. But by striving to atone for our sins, to “return” through “T’shuvah,” the truth of repentence, we actually create a new light; a beacon of our souls seeking to overcome our failings and help to radiate G-d’s light throughout the world. Yom Kippur is about more than “afflicting” ourselves (fasting). It’s about the sincerity of change, taking responsibility for who we are and, if we see ourselves as defective, to do our best to correct our wrongs. Toward that end, may all Israel pray as one before the Only One! Please join us in helping to make that happen. May you and yours be sealed for a Blessed Year!
