About

Congregation Khal Adath Yeshurun–better known as the Cruger Avenue Synagogue–is one of the few remaining Orthodox synagogues in the Bronx, located in the borough’s Pelham Parkway section. Our shul’s mission is to serve the Bronx Jewish community in every way possible. To accomplish this, we offer Shabbat services every Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening; in addition, we have services every Yom Tov (holiday). Each Friday night, congregants are provided with a free multi-course Shabbat dinner (currently the only Bronx synagogue to do so) and each Saturday sees a lavish Kiddush lunch. There are festive parties for all major holidays and special events to celebrate Jewish life. We always welcome new attendees and our Rabbi is available to assist those in need in any way possible. Please, join us (as a congregant and member) and see the Cruger Avenue Synagogue in action!
