A NEW YEAR, A NEW BEGINNING

The Jewish Year 5787 is now upon us. May it be a blessed year for all; a year which truly brings us closer to the coming of Mosiach! The 10 Days of Awe culminate with Yom Kippur (this year beginning Sunday evening, September 20). During this period, it is said we must dedicate ourselves to the meaning of Tsuvah, Tefilah and Tzedakah–Repentence, Prayer and Charity! On Yom Kippur, we refrain from eating and drinking, wearing leather shoes, bathing, engaging in marital relations and self-appointing ourselves (using creams and lotions, etc.). During the services, we confess our sins and vow to better ourselves and overcome our shortcomings as best we can. May we each be successful in this endeavor and in having our prayers heard and answered! May all be sealed in the Book of Life!

We ask all of our friends to come join us for Yom Kippur services.
