The Shabbos before Tisha B’Av is referred to as Shabbat Chazon (The Shabbos of Vision). Our sages believe that on this Friday nught, while we’re sleepimg, our neshamas (souls) are shown a vision of the third Temple. Tisha B’Av begins this Saturday nught, July 17, when Shabbos ends. Pease join us for services Friday night, beginning at 7:30 pm, followed by a community Shabbat dinner. Saturday morning services begin at 9:30 am, followed by a kiddush lunch. Mincha (afternoon) services begin at the special time of 6:15 pm, which will be followed by a pre-fast meal. Then Maariv (evening services) will conclude the Shabbat. As soon as Shabbat ends, we will begin the Tisha B’Av (Kinot) service. The fast begins Saturday evening at 8:24 pm and concludes Sunday evening at 8:56 pm. May we all soon see our darkness turn to a joyous light!
