As the Day of Atonement looms, we invite you to join us for free services. On the most important day on the Jewish calendar, it is customary to spend the day in synagogue; to hear “Kol Nidre” at night, then pray for forgiveness during the day. Please keep in mind the five restrictions called for on this day: (1): No eating or drinking; (2): No wearing of leather shoes; (3): No bathing; (4): No self-annointing (using oils, lotions, creams, etc.); (5): Refraining from cohabitating (sexual relations). May each and every one of you be sealed for a Blessed New Year!
